Yana Ryjova, PhD
Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Yana Ryjova is a licensed psychologist and a graduate of the Clinical Science PhD Program at the University of Southern California. She specializes in evidence-based treatment for adults, with a focus on helping couples improve communication and navigate relationship challenges, as well as supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression and interpersonal difficulties. She has extensive experience working with individuals, couples, families, groups, and veterans across diverse medical and mental health settings.
Dr. Ryjova currently splits her time between The EBP and UNLV PRACTICE Institute of Mental and Behavioral Health, where she serves as the Assistant Adult Clinic Coordinator. In addition to her clinical work, she is actively involved in training, supervision, and program development. She has authored several peer-reviewed publications on interpersonal relationships, communication, and stress and mental health, and has presented her research at national conferences.
Although born in Russia and raised in Las Vegas, Dr. Ryjova considers herself to be a Las Vegas native and is passionate about serving the Southern Nevada community. Before becoming a psychologist, she performed internationally as a circus artist. In her free time, Dr. Ryjova enjoys playing video games, cooking, and gardening.
