Dr. Lidany Jimenez is a licensed, bilingual (English/Spanish), psychologist specializing in evidence-based treatment for adults. Her areas of focus include trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), sexual trauma, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, relational distress, women’s health, cultural diversity concerns, acculturation, insomnia, nightmares, chronic pain, health/wellness, and military psychology. Her clinical practice is also guided by the biopsychosocial model and holistic mind-body approaches. Dr. Jimenez works with individual adults, couples, family consultation, and groups.

Dr. Jimenez is dedicated to helping clients and patients feel empowered and able to achieve their goals. She utilizes compassion and person-centered approaches to establish a strong rapport. Her work spans in a variety of clinical settings, including large medical teaching hospitals, community mental health centers, private practice, nonprofit organizations, in urban and suburban settings. She has a great deal of experience working with individuals from diverse cultural/ethnic backgrounds, military service members, Veterans, first responders, law enforcement, youth, and adults. Dr. Jimenez has vast leadership experience by working within multidisciplinary teams. She has served on medical boards, training committees, supervises predoctoral psychology interns, provides consultation, and is highly involved in the community. Working and/or training internationally, including the United States, Caribbean/Latin America, and India is also part of her professional career. She also completed training on mindfulness, meditation, and Ayurvedic science in India. Dr. Jimenez enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, practicing yoga, meditation, exploring world cuisine, volunteering locally and abroad.
