Michelle Nicole Janeo is a graduate of the Couple and Family Therapy Program at University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Michelle is working under the supervision of James Brittain, LMFT and Dr. Whitney Owens. She is receiving specialized training in evidence-based practices for adult individuals, couples, families, and groups with a wide range of behavioral and emotional concerns. 

Michelle is a Las Vegas native and a first-generation college student. In addition to her training to become a licensed Couple and Family Therapist, her values align with the practice of teaching, leadership, and research. Previously, she taught courses such as Personal Growth and Contemporary Families to undergraduate students as an instructional graduate assistant at UNLV. Michelle works with the Nevada Physicians Wellness coalition, and has a passion for working with physicians and their families. She aspires to continue her passion for education by pursuing her doctorate to continue research that focuses on healthcare professionals' mental health and well-being. In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding, pilates, concerts, traveling, reading mystery or romance novels, and exploring new dining experiences with her loved ones.
